In 1900, noted African American educator W.E. DeBois predicted that the color line would be the defining issue of the century. Although we have made progress in civil rights laws, these have not changed human hearts. Children of color are greatly overrepresented in the juvenile justice system and among those who fail in our schools. This issue explores strategies for achieving the vision of equality and foster oneness among humankind.
